Back-to-School Series: Episode 2

  I'm back with the second episode of my Back-to-School series!  :D  I thought I'd also tell you how many days I have until my first day to school!  So, as of today, I have 14 days until August 21-my first day!  :D  I am so excited!  <3



  Keep on requesting videos!  I have two more done right now, I just need to upload them to my laptop, edit them, etc.  :]

Boring Room How-To's

  If you're like me, you get bored of your room quickly.  You want to spruce it up, you want to change it.  Not able to move the furniture?  Too lazy to make any big changes?  Well, here are some simple crafts that can easily fix that slump of yours!  ;]

WORD COLLAGE

Make colorful collages that make a word or saying and stick them up in an empty space for the world to see!

What you'll need:

-Poster board

-Magazines/catalogs

-Pencil

-Glue

-Ruler/tape measure

-Sticky tack/painter's tape

How you make it:

1. Choose which word you will make
2. Gather your supplies
3. Take your ruler and measure both vertically and horizontally the space you will be putting the word collage to know how large your letters should be
4. Draw your letters
5. Cut them out
6. {You can do this step between 3 and 4, 4 and 5, now, or as you go along} Cut out anything from your magazines and catalogs
7. Glue your snippets from your magazines and catalogs on to your letters
8. Put up on the wall with sticky tack or painter's tape
9. Admire your work!

CLOSET DECOR

Who says the beauty has to be inside the closet with the clothes?  Make your closet beautiful on the outside, too!

What you'll need:

-Construction paper

-Markers

-Scissors

-Tape

How you make it:

1. Decide what you want to make {ex.- flowers, hearts}
2. Gather your supplies
3. Cut out your shapes
4. Decorate the shapes in any way you'd like
5. Tape to closet
6. Admire your work!

DOOR GALLERY

Love art or have a boring door?  Decorate it so it SCREAMS you!

What you'll need:

-Drawings/paintings/writings

-Scrapbook paper

-Markers {if you want to make a sign like I have, or more drawings}

-Your creativity

How you make it:

1. Find a door with nothing on it.
2. Gather your supplies
3. Tape up all drawings and such
4. Admire your work!

COLORED CREATIVITY

Make a colorful word or saying that's all about you!

What you'll need:

-Paper {preferably construction paper or poster board}

-Markers/crayons/colored pencils

-Scissors

-Sticky tack or painter's tape

-Ruler or measuring tape

How you make it:

1. Decide what word{s} you are going to make
2. Gather your supplies
3. Measure the space you are going to put the word{s} in both vertically and horizontally
4. Draw your letters
5. Decorate your letters with markers, crayons, colored pencils, etc.
6. Cut out letters
7. Put your letters up with tape or sticky tack
8. Admire your work!

DESKTOP COLLAGE

Bored of your single-colored desk?  Does your desktop look a little worse for wear?  Fix that right up with a collage full of things you love!

What you'll need:

-Poster board

-Scissors

-Glue

-Catalogs/magazines

-Painter's tape {optional}

How you make it:

1. Cut your poster board to the size you want
2. Cut out snippets from magazines and catalogs
3. Glue the snippets onto the poster board
4. Stick your finished product on your desk by using painter's tape
5. Admire your work!
