  I am back to blogging, and as much as I could apologize and give reasoning, it's simply not worth it.  And so, I'm just going to get back to blogging with my fresh start.  It's a new year, after all {a little late on this bandwagon, aren't I?}, so I'd say it's about time I start!

  So, I still have no pictures to show you, but I just CAN'T wait until I can!  I'm actually posting this from my laptop again, as I just re-designed my blog, and so I have no pictures from my phone or anything.  But I just want to be able to post pictures from my camera so badly, and upload videos to YouTube.  I don't want to use my mom's old laptop because it technically belongs to the school she works at, and our home computer is getting fixed.  So, I'm kind of out of luck right now, but hopefully we'll be getting our home computer soon and I'll post hundreds of pictures.  Mm'kay?

  Anywhoozles, what does everyone think of the new design?  I quite like it myself, especially the header font.  The colors are really cute, too, and different from what I've done before.

  So, I will be back with an actual post soon!  This post is kind of choppy and awkward, but a new post will be really uber soon!

Falling for Fall

  First, please let me apologize for not posting in A MONTH.  But let's not dwell on that.  XD  So, let's get on with the post! :]

  Fall is officially here.  The leaves are brilliant shades of orange and red, and they make such a satisfying sound as I walk on top of them.  The temperatures have dropped rather significantly, and it's basically the perfect weather for hot cocoa and reading good books.  :]

  I got rather excited when October came rolling around.  October means a lot of things to me, so I guess I'll compile a list of those many things!

1. Fall is officially HERE
2. My dad's birthday
3. My brother's birthday
4. Cool temperatures
5. Nutcracker practices! :D
6. Dance team!
7. My schedule becoming routine
8. Homework -.-
9. Reading
10. Warm sweaters, jeans, and tall boots <3
11. Halloween 
12. NaNoWriMo is near!
13. . . . And so is my birthday!
14. . . . Which means so is my DSLR!  {{Well, hopefully. I'm saving up!  ;]}}

  Needless to say, I'm excited for this month.  Oh so much.  :]

  I decided to take this opportunity to talk about some books I've read/am reading/am really excited to read/hope I get for my birthday.  XD

  So, I recently finished re-reading The Hunger Games!  It took me a REALLY long time to re-read it, as I had a lot going on in August and September.  But come October, I just powered through it.  XD  I did enjoy it a LOT, though {I mean, how couldn't I?  It's The Hunger Games, for goodness sake!}, don't get me wrong.  ;]

  So, a couple days after I finished The Hunger Games, I decided to start The Maze Runner by James Dashner!  :D  I'd been wanting to read this book for some time, since I'd found it through Goodreads.  So, at the beginning of the school year, I noticed my English teacher had it on her bookshelf, so I checked it out as fast as possible!  I just started it yesterday, actually, and I'm loving it already!  <3  It's such an interesting concept, but it does have that Hunger Games vibe to it that I find in most of the books I read.  XD  It also reminded me a bit of The Heroes of Olympus series, which is another AMAZING series!  {{I'll return to that topic soon.}}  But anyways, it's really awesome, so you should check it out.  ;]

  So, speaking of The Heroes of Olympus!  THE MARK OF ATHENA CAME OUT NOT TOO LONG AGO AND I'M KIND OF FREAKING OUT.  :O  Seriously, I NEED TO READ THIS.  Bleah, if you're reading this, I read that you're feeling the same way.  XD

I'm kind of adoring the fact that my house now has a blue front door.  :3

  So, fall, I love you very much.  I am so happy that you're here, and I'm most definitely falling for you.  ;]

Hello, September!

  I can honestly not believe that it's already September.  2012 is whipping past so quickly, it's pretty crazy!  XD  I know I'm not the only one to think that, I've read at least three other blog posts feeling the exact same way!

  I've spent September lazing around, eating barbecue, taking pictures {that I am quite proud of!}, writing lists for my birthday {because it's not that far away, really!}, and dreaming of my DSLR.  ;]

  I've finished my second week of school, and it was pretty darn good!  :D  Nothing to complain about, really.  ;]  Plus, we got out of school early every day this week because of heat, so I'm just content.  XD

  Sorry for the boring, small, post, but I don't ever feel like writing much when I have photographs in my post.  XD  So, that explains it!

  I hope September's lovely for all o you, and I'm sure it'll be gone before we know it, so let's enjoy it.  :3

Excitement and Braces

  Two totally opposite things for my title, eh?  XD

  So, I am really excited for a couple things right now, and here they are:

50 Followers
  As you can probably tell, I'm at 47 followers right now!  :D  EEP!  If you could PLEASE spread the word that I'm trying to get to 50 followers and comment linking the post you "advertised" for me in, I will give you a shout-out on my blog!  So please help me?  ;]

Camera
  Okay, so this is extremely exciting!  I am officially starting to save up for my Canon Rebel t3 as of yesterday.  :D  I saw Bobert {that's the T3's name} at Target yesterday, and I love him so dang much.  <3  So, my mom said it would be a good idea when my birthday comes around, ask only for money and not for gifts so I can get my camera and a lens!  WOOT!  :D  And if I save up enough money from birthday and Christmas, I will be getting a Canon Rebel t3i instead!  :O  YAY!  I think his name will be Bobert, too, or Boberto!  XD

  I'm already excited to get my YouTube in November.  XD  If you didn't know this, I love making doll videos.  Yep, I'm a proud owner of four American Girl dolls.  :]

Just Plain Ol' Being Excited
  I'm just so excited that it's summer and I'll be going on vacation pretty soonish here.  :]

  So, I have a lot to be excited about, quite obviously!  XD  I'm just very happy right now, for the most part.  ;]

  The one part that makes me unhappy?  I got rubber bands for my braces.  -.-  They KILL.  XP  Look them up if you don't know what I'm talking about.  Yeah.  They stink.

I Am Me

    I love blogging so much, don't get me wrong, and I've met so many lovely people out in the blogosphere, but I don't know how real anyone truly is, and that's kind of scary.  Isn't it odd that someone could be making up what they did today, pretending that they have gorgeous red curls and perfect aqua eyes, when really they're just afraid that their straight brown hair and brown eyes are too bland for the world.  It's a sad thing.

  Everyone's lives seem very perfect when written on a blog, and I don't want that to happen with my blog.

  So, I just want to let you know who I am.

  Hi, I'm Carolyn.  Carolyn Mary, to be exact.  I'm tall with long-ish dark brown hair {that I am getting cut shorter tomorrow!} and hazel eyes, mostly brown, but with green and flecked with gold.

  I really, truly, don't wear vintage clothes, I get clothes from normal stores- Aeropostale, American Eagle, Delia's, Forever 21.  I have never in my life gone thrifting.  But I'm me.

  I don't have an expensive, fancy, DSLR.  I honestly don't know too much about photography, but I love it nonetheless.  :]  I don't know a thing about blog design, really, I can make headers and change fonts and colors, but besides that, I'm pretty clueless.  But I'm me.

  I tend to ramble and talk about dance a bit more than I should.  But I'm me.

  I don't go to church every single week, but I try.  I don't read the Bible every day, but I love God with all of my heart and know I could do nothing without Him. 

  I'm Carolyn, a girl who loves God, the arts, and being herself.  And I want you to know that I am me, and that's all I should be. :]

Well, that's Mellarkable!

  I apologize of the random title, it's a Hunger Games pun.  If you get comment.  Like, totes.  :]

  So, I changed the look of my blog again, but I'm really liking it, so this is probably how it will stay for a while.  What do you think of the look?  I'd really love to know. :D

  So, I'm currently on break, which is just fantastic!  :]  Our school district doesn't have a spring break, so we have a late-winter break right now, although it's only Thursday and Friday, and I'm going to be busy this break.  XD  Today I have dance from 4:00-5:15, then 6:00-7:30, but I'll get home around 8:00.  Not so much of a break, eh?  Then tomorrow I have an honor choir all day, which I am really excited about!  Then, over the weekend, we're travelling to see relatives, but more on that later.  ;)  So, I'm pretty busy this little break, but that's a-okay, I'm not complaining.

  Today, I feel like making a list, so here it is. XD

What I Hope to do Today

1. Read Catching Fire
2. Upload my pictures
3. Delete the hudnreds of old pictures I don't need anymore off my camera
4. Work a little more on my . . . well . . . "project" . . . ;]

  Well, that's a good list.  XD

  I've decided to post a picture, whether it be taken by me or found on some website, every post.  :)  It makes people want to see more, doesn't it?  XD

2011 has Gone

  I can't believe 2011 is already gone . . . it's been a great, beautiful year.  :)  There have been tough, difficult, times, but I do have to say that 2011 is one of the best years of my life.  2010 was full of bullying and drama, and 2011 was full of friendship and truly finding who I want to be friends with, where I fit in, and who I am.

  Photography became a passion this year.  I found out ways to change the alright photos of a simple pointe-and-shoot camera to something people comment on, something people enjoy, and something I find extremely awesome and are proud of.

  I took on the challenge of NaNoWriMo, set my goal as 9,000 words and finished with over 11,000.  It was an amazing experience, I met a lot of fun people and had fun writing my heart out!

  I enjoyed traveling with my family, especially to Okoboji.

  2011 was an amazing year that I loved immensely.  :)  Thank you to all of my friends, fans, and followers.  I love you all so much and this post wouldn't have been possible without you!  ♥

We Wish you a {{BELATED}} Merry Christmas!

  Yeah, I feel pretty bad, but I didn't post on Christmas.  No, I'm not evil and didn't WANT to post on Christmas, I was gone almost all day.  Here's how my day went:

5:00 AM- Thomas comes in to my room and wakes me up.  I was tired and asleep.  "IT'S CHRISTMAS!" he exclaims, and I respond, "I know."

A little after 5:00- Go in to living room and open stalking stuff

A little MORE after 5:00- Go downstairs and begin to open presents

Around 6:00- Start watching Doll Hair Studio DVD with mom, then take a nap

8:30- Eat breakfast and then do whatever I felt like

11:00- Go to grandparent's house to see family

Who-Knows-When- Leave

Around 11:00 PM- Get home and go to bed

  So, I was busy.  But nonetheless, Merry Christmas!  I would share with you what I got, but not right now.  I have a video of what I got uploading on to my Picasa, so I'll link that sometime soon!  :)
