New Design and Springtime!

Oh, this design makes me feel so cheery and happy it's spring, how about you?  ;D  The header picture is actually one I took today because my red bud tree is . . . well . . . budding!  :D  And so, without farther ado, some pictures I took outside today!  :D

This picture is rather out of focus, but I like it.  :]

The focus on this picture is REALLY cool, I think.  What do you think?

HEADER PICTURE!  :D

The grass is SO green from the rain we've been getting.  It's really pretty and uncut.

Still some water droplets on the grass.  Gorgeous for picture-taking!

Oh.My.Goshbubbles.  I CAN'T BELIEVE I GOT THIS PICTURE!  I LOVE it, how you it's focused on that one drop of water and there are more drops in the back!  **gah**

Oh grass and water, how I love thee.

The weather over in this part of the world has been very nice lately!  Although rainy, the land is becoming green and lush again {gosh, I'm quoting The Hobbit without intentions.  I apologize.  XD}, and it's so beautiful.  :]  I am SO super excited about the Hunger Games movie and CAN'T wait until my shirt gets here.  What shirt, you are wondering?

That shirt right up there is the shirt I ordered on . . . Monday, I believe, and it will {{HOPEFULLY}} be here by the time of the Hunger Games movie.  Crossing my fingers!

Loaf you All,
Carolyn

Snow

You know, I am just now noticing how often we take the little things that make life special for granted.  How did I start feeling this way?  Well, it all started with the weather.

Today is a GORGEOUS day outside.  Two of my neighbors {they're boys and both in third grade} were outside, playing basketball.  They were BOTH wearing shorts and weren't cold.  I should be ecstatic, it's BEAUTIFUL outside!  But I want snow, Christmas will be so different without it.

I was thinking to myself, "I really love snow."  I usually say I hate it because of the cold and the mess.  But really, truly, snow is gorgeous and beautiful.  Think of all those little snowflakes piling up and making those feet of snow.  Did you know that all of those snowflakes look different?  Not one is alike.

In that way, they're like people.  Not a single person is alike, and together, we can amount to more.

So, even if you think this sounds cheesy, just think a little.  You'll notice how the little things-the little snowflakes in your life-make life extremely special.

Fall ♥

It's truly fall over in these parts of the world.  ;)  It's really nice for fall to be here, it's my favorite season.  Why, may you ask?  Well, I'm pretty sure I've already answered that, so go look through my posts.  XD  But I just love the colors and crisp, cool, weather.  It's SO much nicer than so hot you can't stand the outdoors, or so COLD you can't stand the outdoors.  It's a perfect mix of the two!  I guess I like spring for the same reasons, but spring is all pastel-y, while fall is bold, which is more "me", I suppose.

MINE.  Do not steal without asking.

The other day {October fourth, to be exact} I went outside with my dolls and my camera, just to snap some photos.  Of course, bugs are out like CRAZY in the fall {especially when you're sitting by a tree, surrounded by fallen leaves}, so I had to quickly go inside.  ALSO, there were two deer eating calmly, so I didn't want to disturb them, or one of the deer to come too close, because it saw me {stared RIGHT at me} and just kept on walking closer.  Yeah, I'm a wimp.  XD

One amazing thing about fall?  I'm busy!  :D  I love being busy, surprisingly, because I get more things DONE in less time.  Here's my daily schedule:
  1. School
  2. Snack XD
  3. Homework
  4. Dance, piano, or church
  5. Possibly MORE homework
  6. Practice French horn/piano/both
  7. If possible, go on computer or read
  8. Go to sleep
I can get quite a bit done, no?  ;)  Plus, in the small amount of free time I have I travel an hour to Nutcracker practice {I do homework or read, or just talk} and to pointe/ballet class {same as for Nutcracker}, so I have time to do SOMETHING fun {read!} in between busy-ness. XD

Thanks for 21 followers {woot!}, my dear ladies.  ;)

Yours Sincerely,
Caro-Sauce

Doodling in the Clubhouse

Today my little neighbor and I went outside into our clubhouse.  It was a nice day, warm with a faint, cool, breeze whipping through the air.  We decided to do a fun thing, bringing out the towels.  Why is that so fun, you ask?  Well, we make a little secret clubhouse where we put the towels up in the little "windows" so no one can see us, and we draw, talk, and do whatever else it is we want to do!  Today we drew and listened to music.  I drew six drawings, she drew four, and I drew two for her.  :)

It was a simple, happy, day where we goofed off and talked and sang along with songs, dancing while sitting.  It might not have been like yesterday when I went to a huge waterpark, but it was fun nonetheless.

take some time to appreciate the little things in life

Fouettes,
Carolyn
