On This Blog

Ever since I've started this blog, I've wanted to show who I truly am.  It's probably pretty obvious that that's what I want to show, since the title is even Truly, Utterly, Carolyn.  I want to be me.

You know, this probably doesn't seem too difficult.  You just have to write about whatever it is you want to, and you're still being yourself, right?  Well, yes and no.  Obviously, I can't talk about every aspect of my life on my blog, nor would I want to.  But the thing is, I tend to write differently than I talk {a great example would be right now!}, and I read my posts and notice that I probably come off a lot differently in real life.  This is obviously still me, though, just a different side of me than my friends see, I guess.

But my pointe is, I don't want to conform to that.  I kind of wish that I was still the blogger I was when I first made a blog {that blog is long gone, sadly}, a girl who had no idea what blogging was really all about, who just wrote little posts about whatever, being as me as I possibly could be.  As I continuously grow as a writer and a person, though, of course I have-and will-become more mature.  Being more mature doesn't mean I have to be less of myself at all, and I think that's what I need to think when I write a post for however many people still read this little blog of mine.

So, I'm going to try to write as I talk, less "professional"-esque and more . . . well . . . Carolyn.  Truly, Utterly, Carolyn.  :)  Who I am, who I was, and who I will always be.

I thought that this quote was really fitting

Seven Sleeps 'til Santa!

I can NOT believe that in just a WEEK, it'll be Christmas day!  I am honestly so extremely excited for Christmas, I can not even begin to explain it.  XD

So, Christmas break is coming up really soon!  It's Tuesday,-obviously-and I'll 100% be going to school tomorrow.  Then, Wednesday night, we're supposed to get a huge winter storm!  :D  So, the likelyhood of actually having school on Thursday is becoming slim, which makes me oh-so happy.  ;)  So, if we have a snow day on Thursday, that means that we only have FRIDAY until break!  I honestly would have no problem with going to school on Friday because we're having winter activities all day instead of actual classes.  OH YES!  XD  {{And, my dad also said that-due to the weather, since it's supposed to snow all Thursday, too-we might not even have school on Friday at all!}}  I am SO happy!

Really, Christmas is coming so fast, and I can't believe it!  Just a week and I'll be waking up and feeling way too excited.  XD  Eeep, I am so excited that I am seriously feeling excited RIGHT NOW, as I right this.  Carolyn, calm yourself.

As you can easily tell, I am just a tad excited for Christmas!  :D  I've been posting some Christmas videos on my YouTube channel, if you'd like to check those out . . . and I'd really love it if you did.  ;3

  MERRY WEEK-UNTIL-CHRISTMAS!  <3

Falling for Fall

First, please let me apologize for not posting in A MONTH.  But let's not dwell on that.  XD  So, let's get on with the post! :]

Fall is officially here.  The leaves are brilliant shades of orange and red, and they make such a satisfying sound as I walk on top of them.  The temperatures have dropped rather significantly, and it's basically the perfect weather for hot cocoa and reading good books.  :]

I got rather excited when October came rolling around.  October means a lot of things to me, so I guess I'll compile a list of those many things!

  1. Fall is officially HERE
  2. My dad's birthday
  3. My brother's birthday
  4. Cool temperatures
  5. Nutcracker practices! :D
  6. Dance team!
  7. My schedule becoming routine
  8. Homework -.-
  9. Reading
  10. Warm sweaters, jeans, and tall boots <3
  11. Halloween
  12. NaNoWriMo is near!
  13. . . . And so is my birthday!
  14. . . . Which means so is my DSLR!  {{Well, hopefully. I'm saving up!  ;]}}

Needless to say, I'm excited for this month.  Oh so much.  :]

I decided to take this opportunity to talk about some books I've read/am reading/am really excited to read/hope I get for my birthday.  XD

So, I recently finished re-reading The Hunger Games!  It took me a REALLY long time to re-read it, as I had a lot going on in August and September.  But come October, I just powered through it.  XD  I did enjoy it a LOT, though {I mean, how couldn't I?  It's The Hunger Games, for goodness sake!}, don't get me wrong.  ;]

So, a couple days after I finished The Hunger Games, I decided to start The Maze Runner by James Dashner!  :D  I'd been wanting to read this book for some time, since I'd found it through Goodreads.  So, at the beginning of the school year, I noticed my English teacher had it on her bookshelf, so I checked it out as fast as possible!  I just started it yesterday, actually, and I'm loving it already!  <3  It's such an interesting concept, but it does have that Hunger Games vibe to it that I find in most of the books I read.  XD  It also reminded me a bit of The Heroes of Olympus series, which is another AMAZING series!  {{I'll return to that topic soon.}}  But anyways, it's really awesome, so you should check it out.  ;]

So, speaking of The Heroes of Olympus!  THE MARK OF ATHENA CAME OUT NOT TOO LONG AGO AND I'M KIND OF FREAKING OUT.  :O  Seriously, I NEED TO READ THIS.  Bleah, if you're reading this, I read that you're feeling the same way.  XD

I'm kind of adoring the fact that my house now has a blue front door.  :3
So, fall, I love you very much.  I am so happy that you're here, and I'm most definitely falling for you.  ;]

xoxo,
Carolyn <3

{{By the by, I'm ten away from my goal.  And I'd really adore that ten by my birthday.  Thanks so much for all the follows, lovely people!  <33}}

Me, the Busy Bee

Yes, I am a bee now.  Buzz 'n' stuff.  :3

Via Google Images.  ;]

But the actual reason of this post is to explain my schedule and stuff.  I know you probably hate these posts, but PLEASE read to the end!  I'll love you forever.  <3

So, today was my last day of the summer workshop I've taken part in.  It was a great last day, and to top it off I got my left leg splits down! :D  YAY!  We did a very short ballet/ lyrical combo with the "midgets", as our dance teacher calls them.  :]  It was fun.  We also did improv. and such!  :D  Then the normal leaping, turning, stretching.  Lots and lots of stretching. XD

But anyways, I'm still no where near done with my summer dance season!  I have production class this Thursday, and then every single Tuesday and Thursday through July I also have production class!  :D

So, if you don't hear from me, that would explain it!  ;]  Sorry this is so short, but I felt the need to tell you!  :3

F i f t y

Wow.  Just . . . wow.  I finally have fifty followers.  The number I've been striving for since the incident where my blogs were deleted.  And I just want to thank you all so, so, much.  <3

I'm going to be sappy here, but this makes me really, really, happy.  I have worked really hard to get back up to the forty-nine followers that I had over at The Petite Pencil: Snow Globes in my Wardrobe.  Now, I have all of them plus one.  So thank you SO much to every single one of you.  :]  I love you all so, SO, dang much and I'm so happy that you guys have accompanied me on this journey.

And now, a cheesy thank you gif!

Well, besides having fifty followers {OHMIGOSH I LOVE TO SAY THAT!  XD}, I wanted to inform you that I will be gone on a vacation without any internet access!  I though I'd be able to blog to you while I was gone, but never mind.  XD  Ah well, I'll schedule some posts for you guys to read!  ;D

Love you BUNCHES,
Carolyn

I Am Me

I love blogging so much, don't get me wrong, and I've met so many lovely people out in the blogosphere, but I don't know how real anyone truly is, and that's kind of scary.  Isn't it odd that someone could be making up what they did today, pretending that they have gorgeous red curls and perfect aqua eyes, when really they're just afraid that their straight brown hair and brown eyes are too bland for the world.  It's a sad thing.

Everyone's lives seem very perfect when written on a blog, and I don't want that to happen with my blog.

So, I just want to let you know who I am.

Hi, I'm Carolyn.  Carolyn Mary, to be exact.  I'm tall with long-ish dark brown hair {that I am getting cut shorter tomorrow!} and hazel eyes, mostly brown, but with green and flecked with gold.

I really, truly, don't wear vintage clothes, I get clothes from normal stores- Aeropostale, American Eagle, Delia's, Forever 21.  I have never in my life gone thrifting.  But I'm me.

I don't have an expensive, fancy, DSLR.  I honestly don't know too much about photography, but I love it nonetheless.  :]  I don't know a thing about blog design, really, I can make headers and change fonts and colors, but besides that, I'm pretty clueless.  But I'm me.

I tend to ramble and talk about dance a bit more than I should.  But I'm me.

I don't go to church every single week, but I try.  I don't read the Bible every day, but I love God with all of my heart and know I could do nothing without Him.

I'm Carolyn, a girl who loves God, the arts, and being herself.  And I want you to know that I ame, and that's all I should be. :]

**Pant, Pant**

You do not know how nice it feels to be sitting down in a pair of shorts and a tee-shirt right now.  Honest, you DON'T KNOW.  Why?  Oh, let me tell you.

The Hobbit.

Goodness gracious me, today, we had our first two performances for The Hobbit, and I am extremely tuckered out.  {{Man, haven't said THAT in a while!  XD}}  Here's how my day went.

So, at about eight o' clock, I went to the high school where we would be performing. I was extremely tired from just waking up and throwing myself into my costume, and just . . . well . . . being tired.  XD  And so, I got my make-up on and sat and talked to my friend who had attended the midnight premiere of the Hunger Games movie the night before.

Then, we waited, playing Headbanz and Spot It until we were instructed to go and greet the third, fourth, and fifth graders as they entered the building.

Finally, it was time to get ready to go on stage.  So, I went backstage, sitting awkwardly behind Bilbo's house {so I could get in the door} with my fellow dwarves.  We listened to our . . . teacher, I guess . . . give her spiel, and then the play started.

The play went by rather fast, but the children didn't understand much of the play, and I could tell because they didn't laugh at any of the intended humor.  XD  It was really odd, because the middle schoolers DID, and I was expecting it to be opposite.

But anyways, after the first performance, we had lunch {PIZZA!} and then had our second performance, which went a lot better than our first!

So, here I am, after scraping off the ugly stage make-up and taking off my hot costume, I can relax.

Now, I just have to wait until six when I meet up with my friends and teacher at the theater for Hunger Games!  XD

And because I hate picture-less posts:

Lots of Love,
Carolyn

OH LOOK, A FLYING BOX OF VOTING CHEESE NIPS!

Hoping that got your attention.  ;)

So, I would just ADORE if you would PLEASE vote for me in a photo contest.  Yes, I know, I've been over this before, but this round is even better than before!  :D

This round was titled, "Being Charitable."  And what did you do int his round?  Choose a charity and use that in your photograph!  Here is my photo:

I am photo number 3!  :D

My charity was Make a Wish Foundation.  I find this charity extremely amazing, and here's the story of my picture:

My charity is Make a Wish Foundation. This girl is a cancer patient who lives in California. She had always wanted to see snow, and that was her wish. Her wish came true. :)

This round, I feel great about my picture.  So, I not only want to win {although I won't be upset if I don't}, I want to give to my charity.  Yes, the two winning photographs' charities will get a donation from The Doll Wardrobe.  Is this awesome, or is this AWESOME?!

So, PLEASE vote for me.  How do you do that?  Well, you can either email nora.demington@gmail.com, or go to this post and comment, voting for picture/photo/photograph number 3!  :D

Thank you so much in advance!

New, New, NEW!

If my blog doesn't look different and-well-new to you, then I don't know what would!   XD  The biggest change?  The name.  It is no longer, "The Demi-God Dancer".  Why?  Well, first of all, I always forgot if it was, "The Dancing Demi-God" or, "The Demi-God Dancer".  XD  That was a problem.  Second, I don't like it too much anymore.  Plus, a lot of people never knew what a demi-god was, even though I made a post explaining that.  XD

I totally changed the look, also, if you didn't already notice!  XD  I got a new background and header, plus new little button-y things on the sidebar.  I need a new button now.  Darn.  XD

I learned how do to SO many things, and I love my blog. :)  I am so happy I found and alternative to the Minima template.  It's quite boring.  :P  SO, yeah!  EXCITEMENT.

Now, let me continue my Parry Gripp song overload.  Thank you.

Lovesies,
Caro

Me

Yes, there are all kinds of these posts out int he Blogosphere, but I am here more to tell you about myself, my little quirks and imperfections that make me . . . me.  Not things I hate about myself, not necessarily things I love, but that's okay.

Dance Talk.  A LOT.
Guilty dance talker.  I talk about dance ALL.THE.TIME.  Ask someone who knows me in real life, they'll tell you that I talk about dance almost every time we have a conversation.  It's kind of my passion and an absolutely enormous part of my life, so . . . yeah.  Sorry if you hate my dance talk.  XD

Excessive Smiley Face User
Hehe . . . what can I say?  I love smiley faces, emoticons, etc. etc. etc.  Maybe it's because I love to smile so much . . . but they're just SO cute!  ^_^  I mean, seriously, they make posts awesome, chats awesomer, and random message board talk just so much BETTER. {{And really, who can't resist using this little guy: :3 ?!}}

Repeater.  Repeater.  Repeater.
Ha.  Get it.  I'm a repeater, and I just repeated myself three times, SAYING repeater!  HAHAHAHAHA.  Okay.  Sorry 'bout that burst of awkward.  I repeat myself quite a bit, more so in real life than on the internet.  My brother gets so fed up with it, he just flat out says, "Okay, I get it, you've told me this twenty times."  And I feel pretty bad, because I wanted to tell him so badly, and he burst my bubble completely and totally!  SO, I apologize if I repeat myself.  SO, I apologize if I repeat myself.

. . .

Okay, that's enough of repeating, I'm just being my weird self.

Irish
Yes, I know you all know it, I'm Irish.  And I like to share that.  A LOT.  I am very proud of my Irish heritage because it's not like the person that was actually 100% Irish in my family I've never met or heard of, I've met my grandma who is 100% Irish, although she wasn't born in Ireland herself, her parents both were.  So, therefore my mother is 50% Irish and my brother and I are 25% Irish, my children will be 12.5% Irish.  {{Alright, there's my math for the day!  XD}}  But I am an Irish girl who Irish dances, so that-my friend-is why I love to say that I am Irish.

Sharp Pencils
Call me crazy, but I CAN NOT STAND writing with a dull pencil!  It's just dreadful, that disgusting sound it makes as you drag it lightly against the paper!  Eww.  Just eww.

~~

Yeah, I'm a quirky person, and I know there are a LOT of more quirks to me, believe me on that one, but . . . these are some that really, truly, make me, me.

{Love, love, quirky Carolyn, love Love}

Of Friendship {{Thanks}}

You know, I have been posting more often, and I've had this blog since summer, and I would've had my old blog for over a year by now {so I've been a blogger for a year!}, but I've never really told you who my friends were, so . . . how about I do!

Through my wonderful time on Blogger, Picasa, Google Buzz, Google Plus, and American Girl Fan Message Board, I've met some wonderful people.  Let's start with the first two people I've met.

One of the first people I met was none other than Quinlyn.  She was on so many of the websites that I had joined, but I first met her on Picasa after reading her blog.  I had also befriended her on the American Girl Fan Message Board.  We became quick friends and are definitely still close!

I met Jasmine VERY quickly on the American Girl Fan Message Board.  I remember when I first posted, sharing about who I was, and how she was one of the first people to comment.  Although that post was deleted, I remember that she said, "Yay!  More dance buddies!"  We were friends right away, and are even closer now.

Now, let us talk about some friends that weren't the first, but are extremely close. :)

One of my best online friends in the whole world is Zaidia, or as I call her, Jeniqua {or Iqua.  XD}.  We write together, we go on TinyChat, we CHAT LIKE CARAZY on Gmail, and we're  just . . . best friends and junk.

Another one of my best online friends is Britts.  Gosh I love this girl.  We are twins separated at birth, bloggers, Irish dancers, authors, readers, Horrible Histories lovers, Anne Frank fans, and so much more.  We've been super uper close for a really long time.  :)

Yet another amazing best online buddy is Ellie.  We haven't been friends for as long as I have with most of the girls listed, but we're still super close.  We're authors, Irish dancers, Percy Jackson lovers, and just AWESOME LIKE THAT.  XD  We chat all the time and it feels like I've known her forever.  I tell her a lot.  XD

How can I forget Iona?  We've been friends for quite some time now, but we became really close over the summer.  We're authors, readers, Percy Jackson lovers, and-again-JUST AWESOME LIKE THAT!

Here's to a friend not many of you know, Ghillie.  She was/is on the American Girl Fan Message Board, and we've been friends since I joined.  We have so much in common, Irish dancing being the main.  We talk and talk about it!  She and I have been private messaging back and forth since this summer.  She's a very close friend and an amazing girl.  <3

Lastly, Kellee.  Kelleis such an awesome girl.  :)  She always comments on my blog and her blog is just lovely.  We've been PM'ing on the AGFMB a lot lately and I've really grown close to her.

So, thank you SO MUCH to all of these friends.  I did not make this post to try to offend anyone, and if you are not listed I hope you are not offended.  I apologize if you are.  But truly, all of you are my friends.  :)

lovelovelove,
Carolyn

PARTY ALL WEEKEND

{{Sorry, had to say that.  An extremely annoying boy in my grade was SHOUTING that the whole ten minute drive from school to my bus stop.  I JUST HAD TO SAY IT!  XD}}

Yesterday and today were SO fun!  Here's what happened:

Well, I've been at a birthday party.  It started last night, and when we go there we just hung out, acted weird, and did random junk until we ate supper {AMAZING SLOPPY JOES!}.  Then we went to Happy Feet Two at our movie theater.  There was a LONG line for the Twilight movie.  XD  We waited outside for probably half an hour!  Then we FINALLY got in and I got Milk Duds and . . . that was good.  XD  Our principal was there and told us that she thought it was cool that we weren't at Twilight!  XD  So we saw the movie and it was SO cute!  All of us laughed at stupid parts and parts that the little kids didn't understand.  OH HUMOR THAT CHILDREN DON'T GET.  One of my friends {let's call her J} seriously started crying.

When we got home we watched Rango until it started freezing up, and then only three of us were still awake, Sam {the girl who was having the party!} and Day {let's call her}.  We stayed up till 2:30 in the morning,  and then I GOT UP AT 7:30 IN THE MORNING!  :D  Why?  Well, my friends {who had gotten a good sleep} were up, talking.  Plus I had to go to dance at 8:30.  YES, I went to dance from 8:30 in the morning until 11:15 because the teacher wasn't there, so I had to teach her the dances.  XD  {{This was mostly the teaching.}}  For Irish {dance} Sam came {because she's in it with me} and all the rest of the girls watched us.  :)  AWESOMESAUCE.

When we got home we ate lunch {TACOS!} and got dressed and ready, then we got in the car to go ICE SKATING!  This was SO much fun!  We were skating for probably . . . three hours?  It was SO much fun!  I've never done it before, but I wasn't too bad.  I fell millions of times, so I'm sore, bruised, and have blisters, but let me tell you, it was SO worth it.  :)

This was probably the best birthday party I've EVER been to!  ♥

Etc. {Because I'm Brain-Farting Today}

Yes, I am having major brain farts today.  It's been busy, alright?  Here's been my day:

7:30- Wake up, get dressed, eat, etc.

8:30- Go to dance, teach kindergarten class

9:30{ish}- Get picked up by mom {IN NEW CAR!}, go home, relax, go on computer

10:45- Go to dance, Irish

11:15- Get picked up by mom, go home, relax, eat lunch, go on computer and watch My Little Pony {XD  More on that later!}

1:45- Go to dance, make-up combo class

3:00- Get picked up by mom, go home, relax, be tired, get dressed in normal clothes.

3:30- Get in car and go to brother's honor band, watch Soul Surfer on the way

9:00{ish}- Get home after going to the concert, going out to eat, and driving home.

Yawn.  No time to NaNo today, but that's fine.  I've been watching My Little Pony.  XD

Okay, so you're probably like, "What the heck?!  Is Carolyn really only seven?"  No, I will give you that I am older than 10, 'kay?  Anyways, I've been watching this really cute, awesome TV series called My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic {here is a link to the first episode} on YouTube because Sara told me to watch it.

Best.Kid.Show.Ever.

No jokes, yo!  I'm only on episode three or so, but-like I said^-I've been busy!  But, in honor of the six main characters, I made this picture of the ponies:

**PLEASE DO NOT STEAL WITHOUT PERMISSION!**

None of these photos belong to me, all of them were found on Google Images.  :)

Since I'm not sure if y'all are bronies like me {a brony is a fan of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic}, I won't drone on and on about my favorite characters and junk.  XD  But if you can't read their names, it's {Top first, bottom second} Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, and Rarity.  :)

Well, that was a random post!  XD  Hope you enjoyed!

Fall ♥

It's truly fall over in these parts of the world.  ;)  It's really nice for fall to be here, it's my favorite season.  Why, may you ask?  Well, I'm pretty sure I've already answered that, so go look through my posts.  XD  But I just love the colors and crisp, cool, weather.  It's SO much nicer than so hot you can't stand the outdoors, or so COLD you can't stand the outdoors.  It's a perfect mix of the two!  I guess I like spring for the same reasons, but spring is all pastel-y, while fall is bold, which is more "me", I suppose.

MINE.  Do not steal without asking.

The other day {October fourth, to be exact} I went outside with my dolls and my camera, just to snap some photos.  Of course, bugs are out like CRAZY in the fall {especially when you're sitting by a tree, surrounded by fallen leaves}, so I had to quickly go inside.  ALSO, there were two deer eating calmly, so I didn't want to disturb them, or one of the deer to come too close, because it saw me {stared RIGHT at me} and just kept on walking closer.  Yeah, I'm a wimp.  XD

One amazing thing about fall?  I'm busy!  :D  I love being busy, surprisingly, because I get more things DONE in less time.  Here's my daily schedule:
  1. School
  2. Snack XD
  3. Homework
  4. Dance, piano, or church
  5. Possibly MORE homework
  6. Practice French horn/piano/both
  7. If possible, go on computer or read
  8. Go to sleep
I can get quite a bit done, no?  ;)  Plus, in the small amount of free time I have I travel an hour to Nutcracker practice {I do homework or read, or just talk} and to pointe/ballet class {same as for Nutcracker}, so I have time to do SOMETHING fun {read!} in between busy-ness. XD

Thanks for 21 followers {woot!}, my dear ladies.  ;)

Yours Sincerely,
Caro-Sauce

T. Time you wake up: Waking up is the worst part of the day.  XP  I get up anywhere from 6:40 in the morning to 7:15.  It doesn't take me too long to get ready, so it's fine.  ;)  Then on the weekends, I have to get up at 7:00 to get ready for teaching dance and then Irish class from 8:30 in the morning to 11:15, so on Sundays I try to sleep in, but I often attend church.

U. Underwear?: Very much on.  XD

V. Vegetable you hate: Hmm.  I don't know!  I haven't ever eaten a vegetable that I've ever hated.  :P  I love vegetables!

W. What makes you run late? : Getting up too late.  XD

X. X-rays you've had: Two years ago {I think} I got an x-ray of my foot because we thought my toe might've been broken after it got stuck under a door, and I've gotten x-rays for my teeth!

Y. Yummy food that you make: I'm not exactly a cooker.  I can make simple things like toast and soft pretzels, but nothing extraordinarily "yummy".  XD

Z. Zoo Animal: Uhm.  GIRAFFES.

~~

I got this from Treble Clef.  :)  If you would like to do this, GO AHEAD!  It's really fun to do, and-personally, I think-to read!  I hope you enjoyed, and that you feel like you know a little more about me!  :D

My Name is Ed and I Like Pistachios

Hello readers of the world!  SO sorry I haven't posted in a while, but instead of droning ON AND ON about being sorry, I'm making an actual post.  ;)  Anywho . . . moving on.  XD

Dance is now occupying my life.  I have dance on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Tuesday I have combo. {lyrical, tap, jazz}, Thursday I have pointe/ballet technique out of town {30 minutes away}, Saturday I help with kindergarten combo {ballet and tap}, preschool combo {ballet and tap}, and hip-hop 1 and then have my Irish class, and on Sundays I have Nutcracker practice.  SPEAKING OF NUTCRACKER, I just got my part in the mail today!  I'm a soldier, and I'm REALLY excited.

So, obviously, I'm busy.  Besides dance I have LOADS of homework, piano is starting soon, and my Wednesday night church activity {I think it's somewhat like a youth group} is starting soon.

WELL, now if I don't post for a couple days, you'll know why.

ANYWHO, moving on from my schedule, maybe you are asking why my post is titled "My Name is Ed and I Like Pistachios"?  Well, let me explain.

At ballet technique/pointe class last Thursday, one girl whom I had barely met {since I really don't know many people, I've only had two classes there!} gave me a hug and then poked me in the arm and said, "You're going to be my new friend!"  She was being random, but I know she meant it.  So I responded, "Okay?"  Then later she told me that she was Ted and she liked pickles, and then her friend said she was Ned and she liked pizza, so they named me Ed.

So, we all have to like something that starts with the letter p, so I just loudly bursted out, "PISTACHIOS!"  So, I'm Ed and I like pistachios.  ☺

Well, sorry if this was boring {but you might be happy that I posted at all, and it wasn't really short!}, but I hope you enjoyed.  :)  Be sure to comment, and follow if you haven't!  Thanks!

Lots of Love,
Carolyn

Before you Go All, "WHY IS IT TITLED 'THE DEMI-GOD DANCER?!" . . .

Hehe.  Lovely title.

Hey girls!  I just wanted to tell you WHY the HECK my blog is called "The Demi-God Dancer".  Well, let me explain!

A demi-god is a person that is half Olympian god {Greek mythology}, half person!  I LOVE Greek mythology, and got into it because of Percy Jackson.  I do NOT believe in Greek mythology, they're just really fun to read about!

Now, for the dancer part, it's self-explanatory!  I'm a dancer.

SO THERE YA HAVE IT!  ;)  Hope this wasn't too boring, I just want my design from Britts and until then my blog is kind of boring and dismal, so just be patient.  ;P

Doodling in the Clubhouse

Today my little neighbor and I went outside into our clubhouse.  It was a nice day, warm with a faint, cool, breeze whipping through the air.  We decided to do a fun thing, bringing out the towels.  Why is that so fun, you ask?  Well, we make a little secret clubhouse where we put the towels up in the little "windows" so no one can see us, and we draw, talk, and do whatever else it is we want to do!  Today we drew and listened to music.  I drew six drawings, she drew four, and I drew two for her.  :)

It was a simple, happy, day where we goofed off and talked and sang along with songs, dancing while sitting.  It might not have been like yesterday when I went to a huge waterpark, but it was fun nonetheless.

take some time to appreciate the little things in life

Posting from the Coolest thing EVER . . . and an Update on School

Hey girls!  Carolyn here.  ;)  GUESS WHAT?!?!?  I am posting from a Samsung Chrome book . . . and what is that, you may ask?  A GOOGLE CHROME LAPTOP!!  :D  I am serious, people, it's amazing.  GET ONE NOW!  Hehe.  :)  Okay, so it's the school's {the school my dad is the principal of}, but we get to use it . . . it's the best thing ever, no joke . . . beautiful, amazing, slick, awesome, etc.  XD  Have I mentioned it's awesome?  And cool?  And amazing?  And slick?  And beautiful?  Well, it is!  HEHE.

Alright, so an update on school . . . it's been going well, I've been going for four days!  The teachers are nice, and I'm just really happy.  :)  I made a new best friend, too, which is always a plus!  ;)

OH!  And guess what?!?  I RIDE THE BOY BUS!  Our school is in a different town, but close {just for this grade}, because there isn't enough room in OUR TOWN.  So, the girls have a bus and the boys have a bus to get to school and back from school.  So, there isn't enough room on the girl bus, so my three of my friends and I volunteered to sit on the boy bus . . . and it's awesome.  XD  I like it better.  :P  I sit by the girls, no worries. ;)

  Thanks for reading!  :D
